It is with great joy and a clear vision for the future that I announce today: exxtra24 is going international – with the launch of exxtra24.al in Albania and Kosovo.

What began in January 2025 with our successful launch in Austria is now evolving into a European success story.

Exxtra24 is more than just a news platform. We are a movement for modern, digital, and AI-driven journalism – accessible, independent, and above all, relevant. With the relaunch of our platform – both visually and technically – we are offering our readers a new user experience: faster, clearer, and mobile-first. Our mission: news you understand instantly – no detours.

Our expansion into Albania and Kosovo is not only a strategic step but also an emotional one. There are around 12.5 million people worldwide with Albanian roots, many of whom seek trustworthy, up-to-date news from their home countries. That’s where exxtra24.al comes in: for the first time, a central, independent, and globally accessible platform for news from Albania and Kosovo – digital, and always within reach.

We aim to be the trusted companion for everyone who feels connected to these countries – whether they live in Tirana, Pristina, Zurich, Munich, or New York.

But this is just the beginning: More countries are already on our roadmap. Germany, Switzerland, Georgia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro are the next steps in our journey. Because we believe in borderless journalism and in the power of technology to connect people – regardless of language, origin, or location.

Together with my co-founders Rafael Haslauer (CDO) and David Tschikof (CSO), we have a clear goal: to become Europe’s leading AI-powered news platform by 2027. The founding of exxtra24 International Holding is the next logical step. It will unify all national subsidiaries – with a planned IPO in the same year.
