The tragic death of beautiful Instagram model Tijana Radonjic (19) in Montenegro: A dramatic video shows how the young Serbian woman, apparently in a state of panic, wriggles out of her harness at a height of 50 meters and falls to her death.

What was planned as a fun promotional shoot for a parasailing company on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro ended in a shocking tragedy: 19-year-old Tijana Radonjic, a Serbian model, was supposed to glide over the sea in a bikini for promotional photos in Budva – a perfect appearance for social media and advertising purposes. At first, everything seemed to be going smoothly:

“She was cheerful, waving to her friends,” operator Mirko Krdzic told the Serbian newspaper Republika.

But then suddenly a panic attack struck: eyewitnesses on the beach reported that Tijana apparently became frightened during the flight. “Put me down!” she shouted repeatedly. She began frantically pulling at her life jacket and safety belts. In her panic, she reportedly loosened the lap belt herself, causing her to slip through the harness and fall 50 meters into the sea.

The dramatic moment was filmed – the video footage is now also available to the police, who are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident. It is still unclear whether a technical defect, human error, or a state of mental distress triggered the panic attack. An autopsy is also expected to provide further information.

The operator of the parasailing company emphasizes that Tijana was properly instructed and equipped: “She showed no signs of fear. We are all deeply shocked.” Tijana’s family also doubts that the young woman was responsible for her own death. “You tried to save yourself – unfortunately in vain,” writes a relative on social media.

Particularly moving are the farewell words of her aunt, with whom Tijana was spending her vacation:

“We should have been talking about swimsuits, not your funeral. I can still hear your laughter.”
