Russian warship spotted off Denmark’s coast – chaos caused by drones!

Copenhagen – A storm of mistrust is brewing over the Baltic Sea. For days, Denmark has been plagued by mysterious drones that have even paralyzed the capital’s airport. The government is calling it “the most serious attack on critical infrastructure to date.” Now a shocking discovery is further heating up the situation: a huge Russian warship has been detected just off the Danish coast – operating in the dark and hidden from public view.

A ghost ship in Danish waters

While suspicion initially fell on civilian tankers from Putin’s so-called “shadow fleet,” the Danish press has uncovered something far more disturbing. As Bild.de reports, journalists from the newspaper “Ekstra Bladet” made an alarming discovery during a helicopter flight. The Russian landing ship “Aleksandr Shabalin” was located between the islands of Langeland and Lolland, only 12 kilometers from the coast. Crucially, the ship had switched off its tracking signal, effectively becoming a ghost ship in a high-voltage area.

The timing is explosive. While Denmark was struggling with repeated drone attacks, this warship was hiding in plain sight. Ekstra Bladet calculated that the distance from the ship to the affected airports and military installations is between 70 and 270 kilometers – a distance that is easily covered by sophisticated drones.

Did the drones take off from here?

The question everyone is now asking is inevitable: did this warship serve as a mobile command center for the drone attacks? The Aleksandr Shabalin is not a small ship. As part of the Russian Baltic Fleet, it can transport ten tanks and 340 soldiers and is equipped with anti-aircraft guns and rocket launchers. The connection seems too obvious to be a coincidence.

Jens Jespersen, lead investigator with the Copenhagen police, noted that the drones used were significantly larger than commercially available models and appeared to be professionally controlled. Observers are now speculating that Russia could be testing new forms of hybrid warfare here, using a ship as a floating drone base to spy on NATO territory and deliberately cause chaos.

Official reactions and denials

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen addressed the nation, stating, “In recent days, Denmark has been the victim of hybrid attacks.” French President Emmanuel Macron has already pledged his country’s “unconditional solidarity” and offered assistance in securing Danish airspace.

As expected, the Kremlin denies everything. A spokesman for President Vladimir Putin dismissed the accusations as “baseless.” But while Moscow denies it, one indisputable fact remains: a Russian warship is lying motionless and without signal in Danish waters, right at the center of the crisis.
